This question is critical for the present and future of New Zealand Design as well as the nation’s economic and social development.

The New Zealand Design DNA Project seeks to explore the fundamental and distinctive characteristics and qualities of New Zealand Design. The project brings together research and practice experiences from a diverse array of people and disciplines, in pursuit of better understanding the nature of New Zealand’s design identity.

DesignCo has embarked on the Design DNA Project because we want to see New Zealand’s distinctive design culture shaped into a strong national design identity.
